It is a relatively short walk from the Royal Docks to the edges of the Arcturus district of the city, the well-maintained and expensive-looking homes and shops of the royal district slowly fading into the less-maintained edges of gang territory. It is a gradual but noticeable change as you walk for about an hour, before it changes again. You make your way into the economic heart of the district, Kritikos Square, and find that the surrounding streets are even nicer than what you had found at the Royal Docks. The architectural style here is very reminiscent of what you might find in the heart of Quintopolis, with marble and brick buildings adorned with intricate frescoes. The centerpiece of the square is a statue of Kritikos, who you know from a plaque at the base to have been a wealthy merchant who once owned the entire neighborhood and had it refurbished in neo-Gleiosian art architecture to better match with the culture of its inhabitants, likely well before the Ágrypno came into control of the area.
Located within the square are a number of shops, restaurants, and other locales. The largest and seemingly most popular gathering spots seem to be a coffee shop, simply named
Nico's, and a hotel/restaurant called Géfsi Vuros. As you wander the busy main street, a man bumps into Castor as you walk, mumbling an apology as he goes past.
