Humans are the most populous race on the continent of Voreld and as a result are usually the benchmark by which the other races are compared. They have an average height of just under 6 feet tall and usually live between 60 to 80 years before dying of old age. There are several human languages which vary by region; Serran, Tulrissian, Imardanian and Forellian. The Common language, most often spoken by traders, is also human in origin.
The race is found all over Voreld and as a result most humans identify with a region of the continent. The Serran Desert is considered where the race first originated and the darker skinned, hardier, humans that inhabit the desert identify themselves as Serran.
The Kingdom of Tulrisse, across the mountains to the west of the Serran Desert, is a feudal realm inhabited by humans lighter in skin than their Serran counter parts and go by Tulrissian. Many in the Andorian Peninsula to the south, identify as Tulrissian, due to Tulrisse being the homeland of many of the peninsula’s original settlers, however more recently an Andorian indentity has been developing.
The Imardanians come from the Nation of Imardin to the North of Tulrisse and are currently considered the technological and cultural leaders of the known world. Imardanians are often taller and live longer than other humans, reflecting their nation’s advances.
Lastly, the large number of islands off the north coast of Voreld, in the Forelle Sea, are inhabited by a mostly seafaring folk who identify as Forellian, who are very similar to Tulrissians and Imardanians.
