The Kingdom of Serra, or Serran Empire was a sprawling empire based in the once-arable lands that are now known as the Serran Desert. Holding considerable regional power even before the First Era, the Serran Empire led a successful occupation of Southern Tulrisse and Imardin in the First Era. After failing to capture the orcish homelands of Kurnhuelde in the Second Era, the Empire went through centuries of stagnation, civil unrest, and political strife. This culminated in its eventual civil war and dissolution, in 2E Y278, which scholars now mark as the end of the era.
