Dromhold is a colony of Iron Eye Cove, settled on a small island just off the coast of the Andorian Peninsula, famous for the export of its rare wood. Initially a base-camp for the Explorers' Guild to do research, Dromhold was taken over by IEC as a lumber camp and grew to a small city.
History
Dromhold was initially a base-camp establisehd for the Explorers' Guild with intent to explore the lava tubes of Marapas and document any interesting flora and fauna. For years, food was mandatorily shipped in from Iron Eye Cove and The Cape, beacuse the lack of a proper society there. Within a couple decades of activity, the area was scouted by IEC for the presence of a very rare type of wood. At the behest of the Council to seize the economic opportunity, colonists from Iron Eye Cove migrated over the course of a few years, establishing the town formally under the Trade Lord's banner. While never growing to a bustling size, Dromhold is home to a decent-sized shipping center for its native lumber and has considerable farmland along the coast.

With the volcano safely about a hundred miles away, the residents live in comfort knowing that even in the event of an eruption, they are unlikely to be hit by a direct flow. Ashe and dust, however, are a concern being so close. In lieu of this, the Council of Iron Eye Cove has set in place a rigorous evacuation system to allow the residents to escape in case of an emergency.
